Recently I have been interested in drawing on a small scale using pencil on grey paper - building figurative forms using the point of drawing to collage and blend different elements together. The process of drawing allows these images to occupy a common territory. Some elements join more comfortably than others, resulting in unsettling and sometimes funny forms. |
