The challenge to interpret and describe one's life through the medium of oil painting is still vital for me as an artist today. I create oils on canvas, graphic works on paper, etchings and collages that express a personal iconography through experimental techniques. Art for me has always been fraught with a real sense of discovery. Each time I begin a work the aspect of the unknown is what I must explore.Marc |
