"Kaleidography"®
"KaleidoGraphics" are photographs of objects which are modified to a cubistic or surrealistic manner using a kaleidoscopic-like instrument. The modifications are not created through alternating an already finished photo by digital means on a computer with the help of an image program, but are created by using rays of light subject to the optic laws of light breaking upon mirrored surfaces.
This is achieved by the mediation of the afore mentioned kaleidoscopic-like instrument between the photographic object and the objective lens. Thus the artistic creation can be observed on the matt glass surface of the view finder and will be frozen by the final click of the shutter. This is achieved by a combination of the shooting angle and by the angle between the axle of the kaleidoscopic-like instrument and the objective lens. The construction allows identical, parallel, meeting or twisted axles and by this a wide scope of artistic latitude.
Therefore every created negative or slide positive or digital image is an original "KaleidoGraphic".
