I was born in Limerick, Ireland in 1985 and my family moved to Galway at the start of the 90's. I'm trying to put together a portfolio at the moment so I can go to art college in September (hopefully). |

My artwork is inspired by where I live, where I have been and the people I love. I love living in Galway because every day theres a different skyscape over the bay, weather is very dramatic here, and that influences the whole city making it beautiful when the sun is shining but also pretty grim when its raining. That song about watching the sun go down on Galway Bay is cheesy but the colours that are created at the end of the day, whatever the weather, are always different to the day before and make amazing reflections on the sea. I'm lucky to have travelled to many places in Europe, and also visited Asia and America and each place offers inspiration both through the landscapes they present, the people that reside there and the way that different places make you reflect on your life from an alternative point of view. The people I love, my family and friends, are contained in my work in various ways directly featured or present at the time we shared a moment that ends up on canvas. I like to paint images that we can enjoy together evoking memories of a time we shared be it watching a storm approach in Thailand or just walking around Galway. Hope you enjoy my work in progress |

| I have a B.A. in Arts (English and Psychological Studies), graduated in October and hope to attend art college in September if all goes according to plan. If not im going to go to Barcelona for a year and prepare a better portfolio. | |
