Hi! Here are a few of my older paintings, I hope you like them. If you have any comments or questions please don't be shy and gimme a shout!

In college I became fascinated by the effect of stress on a person's behaviour and appearance. I began to use imagery of stress-caused illnesses and to engage the viewer I introduced various textures into the painting e.g. wax, thread, silicone. I found that careful use of colour and texture brought the viewer into the painting and engaged him/her, in a subject that would otherwise repel.

I'm kinda going through a change in direction at the moment so hopefully there'll be some new and exciting work up here soon;)
