I have a huge love for film and theatre and due to this I have spent the last 3yrs producing photographic images that are both based on films I have seen & producing images that have a strong filmic & theatrical quality that could be seen as either a film still or a promotional shot for a film. My major influences within film come from David Lynch, Tim Burton, Luc Besson, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodreiguez and Sam Mendes. Photographically I have taken inspiration from the likes of Helmut Newton, Gregory Crewdson, Nan Goldin, Mario Giaccomeli, Sarah Moon, Gottfried Helnwein & Sandy Skogland. |

| This image was constructed from 3 separate images in order to create the final piece. It holds huge sentimental value to me as it is part of a series of images that deal with the tragic death of a very dear friend some 10yrs ago and I feel it has taken me all this time in order to create both a tribute to her and some kind of therapy for myself regarding her passing. |

| I completed my BA Honors Degree at Falmouth School of Arts last June and have been working as a freelance photographer since. While studying for my HND Photography i won a Merit Prize award for the Fuji Film Student Awards in June 2004. I have also had publication of written & photographic pieces in the West Briton Newspaper. Photographic submission for the BBC -Website & Publication of photographic images in America. |
