| Training as a draughtsman and artist. Parallel: Art school and then Real Academia de Bellas Artes (Royal Academy of Art) in Madrid. 1964-1997: Own studio for communication, advertising, design and promotion in Münster (Germany). Then until 1992 in various consulting, managing and creative positions nationally and internationally. Since 1992 exclusively active as a designer and fine artist and since 1996 operating his own gallery and active in art and culture management. Fields: Art, design, graphics, photogrphy, photo-graphics and digital art. 1996: Foundation of their own production gallery KONTRASTE with wife/fellow artist Evelyn. Concept of the gallery: Artists working for artists. International art direct from the artists. Founder and director of several international cultural and artistic projects: Art Bridge Westphalia-Siberis (since 1996), Art Bridge 2 (since 2003), International Hellweg Art Bridge Symposium 2004, 2006. More as 100 individual exhibitions and participation in others both at home and abroad: Germany, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Kazazstan. Many works in public and private collections in Germany, Spain, USA, Russia, Canada, Japan, Peru and Turkey. |
