My paintings consist of family members, places I've visited and works taken from my daughter's travels. She takes the photographs and I paint the images. This collaboration brings the two of us together even though we live miles apart. This year in 2009 I've started a new series of paintings based on shots taken throughout the years of my girlfriends and me, again there is an emotional attachment. |

| This is a scene with my mother and the family dog. The blue in her face represents the depression she suffered for years, it slowly took over her entire life, finally for good. However, at this point she was still full of herself and she is wondering why the dog is so bold as to be on the couch with her. |
