I always knew I wanted to be an artist. From the time I was a child, I loved to paint and was winning prizes for my art. Graduating with a Fine Art degree in Painting from Kutztown University, I received the prize for top fine art graduate. However, I worked as an art teacher, designer, and creative director until fifteen years ago when I decided to finally begin painting full time. |

My landscape paintings are primarily done en plein air. I love travelling to many locations throughout the US, Canada and Europe to paint. I look for the special qualities of light, atmosphere and physical characteristics that make these places so unique. I want to create an immediate response to the elements that draw me to each subject and at the same time keep the paint surface involving and fresh. |
