| Tesla beklemtoonde voortdurend dat zijn golven niet dezelfde waren als die van Herz en dat ze zich voortplanten met snelheid groter dan die van het licht. Daarom was Tesla in geheel niet geintreseerd in het begriep energie, opgevat in de huidige zin. Hij gebruikte zijn eigen electromagnetische theorie. In zijn berekeningen hadden elektromagnetische golven de volgende eigenschappen: oscillatie (configuratie van de ruimte waarin de golf als zodanig bestaan) frequentie (die was voor Tasla het quotient van de oscillatie, de relatie tussen twee homogene of tywee heterogene electromagnetische velden) en vibratie (een complex systeem van frequenties in onderling harmonische relatie) |
