| About the Artist | |
Evident in all of Sarah's paintings is a love of texture, and a playfulness and spontaneity with her materials. Rich, sumptuous oil paint is brushed on with urgency in parts: washed on, dripped, smeared and carefully blended in others. Using brushes, sticks, palette knives, or even her fingers to apply it, she allows the paint a degree of unpredictability, giving it a sense of being alive. |

| Education and biography | |
| Since graduating in 2003 with an MA in Contemporary Art and a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University (UK), Sarah has sold and exhibited paintings widely across London, Oxford and abroad, to large companies and for private commissions. She has recently received commissions that have been sent out to Australia, America, Canada and (soon to be) Chile. | |
| Future shows | |
| The next solo exhibition will begin in May, running for three weeks at Oxford Esporta Health Club. A second summer exhibition is also being planned in central Oxford, in conjunction with a local charity (dates to be confirmed.) | |
