Blank Canvas Second Generation was started by the sole remaining member of the original Blank Canvas group. Based in the Algarve the group ran from 2001 to 2007 and was designed as a self help group of artists with the aim of giving support to each other. During the seven years the group ran it built up a sound record of exhibiting locally and working with other artists. |

| Membership Criteria There are no specific qualifications required to join BC2. All we ask is that artists should be dedicated both to the concept of art being their main motivation and also to the theory of helping their fellow artists. It is expected that you would have at least one gallery operating on the net. You would be required to join the galleries on which BC2 is operating. You must be prepared to actively promote the group across the internet both by loading images and information on the BC2 galleries and, where possible, by providing info (images even!) about the group and the members on websites in which you are involved We are not laying down any hard rules – it is in your interest to publicize BC2 and the members. As the group gains a reputation in the art world so will you. |
