In Loving Memory

| When my Mother died a few years ago, I painted a pink rose for my Father. My Father loved the pink rose I had painted especially for him. Just before my Father died he asked me to paint a red rose and to call it �In Loving Memory�. (My Father always took a keen interest in my paintings.) Since my Father died I have found it emotionally difficult to get back into painting again. But I had promised that I would paint a red rose. I believe my Father must have known I would find it difficult to paint again and knew I would need a challenge. I will never know if my Father approves of my red rose. But I have put my heart into this rose and if you look closely at the painting, you will see my heart is broken. Painted With All My Love. In Loving Memory of my parents and for those who have lost someone they love. |
