| 关于此艺术家 |
Rozagy is a female Artist and composer with Asperger's syndrome who has painted the Queen, Madonna, David Beckham, Nikki Bacharach and many others to raise money for charity.
Rozagy's art style is characterised by bright jewel-like colours, texture and sometimes intricate hand-beading - the process she finds therapeutic. She does art to keep sane in this increasingly complex world and to channel emotions she finds hard to express in other ways. Her art was initially influenced by fairytales (which she found easy to relate to because of their clear definition of good & evil) but lately has taken on feminist connotations. The notions of justice & equality and the effects of destructive power of prejudice are reflected in her work.
Rozagy is a founding member of the autistic culture movement with fellow artist Peter Howson and is also a disabilities campaigner. Her song for autism, Open every door, was played in Parliament in February 2008. Rozagy has exhibited in the Birmingham Museum, Marcus Gallery, Cambridge International Art and Autism exhibition, London Institute of Contemporary Arts and in private galleries.
