Artist David London has been actively drawing and painting since early childhood. London’s skills in portraiture and figure drawing are attributed to intensive self-instruction. His figurative collection boldly demonstrates a classic understanding of human anatomy and male musculature. The artist brings more to his collection than technical skill, however. He also brings life experience, commitment to his craft, and a passion for artisticexcellence.
“A diamond may last forever, but nothing preserves the beauty, strength, and spirit of a person like fine art. Portraiture and figure drawings capture more than simply a physical likeness. Truly compelling artistry captures the essence of life behind the model, and reveals their unique individuality through mood and gesture. My goal as an artist is to express this awesome potential through my medium, and create something worth treasuring for a lifetime.â€
David London currently lives and works from his private studio in New England, USA. He is a member of The Leslie Lohman Gay Art Foundation of NYC, The Tom of Finland Foundation, The Human Rights Campaign, and The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission.
