"The human body is undergoing a radical evolution caused by new advances in biotechnology, robotics, and information technologies. As the Web director of Cornell University’s Medical Center and Hospital, I am participating in these developments to advance patient care, research, and medical education.
As an artist, filmmaker and faculty member, I am visualizing and critically dissecting these fundamental transformations in human nature."

"At Deitch Projects, I exhibited this 20' mural installation, where the walking figure was composed of both paint and digital 3-D video projections. Visitors to the gallery could inject medical nanotechnology into the body using a video game controller, and a pool of moving MRI brain images reflected in a Zen-like garden." |
