Born in England, the youngest of five. My father an ex fighter pilot and international structural/safety car design engineer. My mother a maternity nurse. I grew up attending the local schools in a quiet neighbourhood. During the holidays I went to Hungary where both my parents are from. It always intrigued me how drastically life had changed under communism. Yet one still could enjoy sailing at the Balaton, relaxing in the mountains or soaking in the thermal spas. Know matter how supressed a nation had become natures escape was always close at hand. |

I am inspired by media and its effects on society and the way we live. I love to trek in jungles and far off places. To discover the erotic beauty of orchids and how they are able to withstand the harsh environments, whilst so feminine and delicate. My mind wonders endlessly how I can re-create such beauty onto lingerie. Putting us back in touch with our natural selves. |

| I trained in advertising at Buckinghamshire of Brunel University (formerly known as Amersham). I have three different web sites, one for conceptual/design www.alisonlontay.com another for photography www.alisonlontay.co.uk and the third for my lingerie, body and beachwear www.misslontay.com (where I create all on own fabrics from my photographic images of exotic and rare orchids that I photograph in the Jungles around the world. |
