Working both in watercolour and oil, Carolyn does not do portraits, but rather tries to recreate the joy of childhood play, the sunshine and freedom, that is so fleeting. |

| As a student at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN Carolyn studied with the sculptor Paul Granlund. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in Advertising and Design, and worked in Communications, Advertising and business journalism before pursuing visual arts. Carolyn has trained with numerous Ontario artists through the Ontario College of Art and Design, The Art Gallery of Ontario and in artist workshops by Daniel Hughes, Barry Coombs, Katherine Hobart, Bill Vrsak, Graham Bibby and others. She has shown in a number of one woman shows in Muskoka, Ontario where many of her images are inspired. Most recently she participated in a group Show at the Edward Day Gallery and the Thera Gallery in Toronto. |
