David Stubbs came back to photography comparatively late in life. Many of us have a creative need, a desire to set the mind free to create things of beauty, to make others think about their surroundings, or set the imagination free to wander among the fields of our dreams. Some are lucky to have the desire and ability at an early age. Only in the last three years has David fulfilled this desire and now matches it with an inherent and growing ability. |

Shapes, patterns and textures are his main inspiration. Beauty can be seen not only in a row of trees standing quietly amongst softly fallen snow but also in a concrete archway, a staircase or steps meandering through tall concrete buildings, architectural monuments to someone else’s dream. |
