I believe that the photograph can reveal things that the human eyes alone cannot sense, like the way we feel in situations but sometimes cannot recognize in the moment. Most of my work has been focused on domestic narrative. I wanted to create simplistic scenes with only hints of something deeper. A study of myself, which has turned into a study of humanity. Which leads to my second body of work, polaroid portaits. Not so clear, more like a remembrance, these portraits are just a glimpse, a moment, yet they tell you so much. |
