| 关于此艺术家 | |
Christine Erhard works on the "mechanicalness" of our existence and the technological process which sustains an artist's work. She thus draws the elements making up the images from different sources - digital photographs, newspaper cuttings, fragments of family snaps - organising and scaling them so as to create spaces which are lucidly structured from the perspective point of view. Wholly artifcial spaces thus take on the appearance of "real", or at least realistically represented, places, obeying the canons of documentary photography. They are actually built up on the basis of a complex technological procedure, responsible for their exactness, which is really fictitious and no longer has anything to do with the document. |
