I'm very interested in tapping raw emotions and transcribing them into my paintings the best I can. Such emotions or impulses are to me the most genuine expression of identity, the source of our "flow". The rest, the reasons and stories we ascribe to our emotions is but a way for us to dress and shield ourselves from the intimidating nakedness of such emotions. |

| 1987: E.S.A.G. PEMMINGHEM Academy of Paris (Ecole Supérieure d'Art et d'Architecture intérieure). 1988: Move to New York. 1988-1992: F.I.T. University (Fashion Institute&Technology) deparment of Fine Arts and illustration. 1989: Jewellery at the SoHo Gallery. 1990: Painting sxhibitions in New York at Galleries as "Cast-Iron"and "Green Street Gallery". 1991: Creation of the Jewellery Company under his name "Benji". His themes are the human body using faces, body parts and torsos in designs. From that time, started doing "live" paintings performances in art galleries, night-clubs and restaurants, such as, "The Tunnel"in New York, "Les Bains-Douches"in Paris, painting on canvas in the middle of a crowd. 1992: Joins the Ärts Student's League of New York". 1997: Discovers Thailand. Seized by a passion of the Sacred Art of this country, he gradually becomes an expert. He divides his time between Thailand and the U.S.A. where he exhibits rare pieces. 2004: Exhibition of paintings and drawings at the "Bratsera" in Hydra, Greece. 2004: Exhibition of paintings and drawings at the TP. Pantazidis Gallery, in Athens, Greece. |
