In my opinion, acquired and received patterns of perception rarely function nowadays in the outside world nor in the world of images. Only the forceful redirection ( Zurück-geworfenwerden) towards innate perceptions and instincts can recreate new insights and can be illustrated and experienced in the picture. This is the subject of my painting. |

My current project consits in painting maps of cities, nature and water from the perspective of a bird. (thanks to google earth) From this view for example cities are telling me about their history, of tangents which divide and cut through districts, blessures of war, empty spaces which are awaiting their closing, light and colour.
