I have been a practicing artist for over twenty years. Originally trained as a designer in the early eighties,Fine Art was always my first love and I recently graduated from the University of East London. |

I have always been interested in temporary situations and capturing a 'moment', creating figurative images that people could identify with. Most recently my work has become heavily influenced by Film Noir, exploring feelings of vulnerability, anticipation or fear, triggered by certain situations or memories. My inspirations are artists such as Edward Hopper, Walter Sickert and Gerhard Richter and film directors Robert Wiene, Fritz Lang, Alfred Hitchcock and Tim Burton. |
