I was born on June 4th 1949 in London and have been a committed amateur photographer since I was 14 years old. I have a passion for street, landscape and portrait photography. I trained as a civil engineer and following an MBA course at Cranfield have spent much of my working life project managing the development of private and public hospitals. In more recent years I had an internet consultancy with some colleagues and finally three years ago took an opportunity to become a professional photographer which I have found to be the perfect thing to do at this stage of my life.

| About the Artist |
My photography is focused on three main themes, street photography, land/cityscapes and portraiture, with the human form often being present as i am fascinated by the interaction of people with people, their environment and surrounding events. I portray things in a vivid graphic style and endeavor to interact with all my subjects in a way that reveals themselves to the world. I am nspired by great photographers such as Cecil Beaton, Horst, Richard Avedon, Mario Giacomelli, Alexei Brodovich, Cartier Bresson and Elliott Erwitt. |
