Nicole Deponte is a Boston based Artist, exhibiting her work throughout the New England area. Her work can be found in private collections across the United States. After graduating from the Sculpture Department at the Massachusetts College of Art in 2000, she has spent the past 6 years exploring drawing as an object thinker. Deponte's focus on non-traditional techniques and processes, introduce an on-going theme of action and response through her material. She challenges the edge of the paper with her strong color vocabulary, experimentation with organic shapes, and her purposeful line. |
