I was born in Bethesda, MD and have lived all over the world as the child of a Naval Scientist. Now, I live Sedona, AZ. Most of the inspiration for my art comes from my beautiful surroundings. |

Ricki Losee thinks of color as “Gods own signature upon the Earth”. She draws her love affair with color through the atmosphere of living in Sedona. She uses photographs that are taken by her husband Ian Hyde from their back yard and surrounding area. Ricki is an award winning artist and her work has been on display at exhibits throughout the United States. |

| This is from an actual photograph taken by my husband, Ian Hyde. This Budgerigar Parakeet is obviously not native to Sedona, AZ. I named her Alie; short for Alien. She stayed with us only a few months then moved on.
