I usually use various technics, but I consider water-colour painting the most delicate and refined. My artistic credo is realism and imagination. I prefer to write portraits and still-lifes.I am proud of the fact that some of my works are kept in museums of Russia, in the museum of the "Russian art" in France and also in private collections of America, Japan, England, Germany and Canada. Besides painting I really love literature and poetry. That's why I have recently prepared for edition an album of graphics dedicated to the verses of our great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin (19-th century). I also cooperate with our modern poets. I hope you would like my pictures so, as I like to draw them! I'm sure that the vocation of the artist is to give to people joy and pleasure |

| I was born in the ancient Russian city of Ryazan. There I have graduted from the Art College. First I worked as a painter in a publishing house, then as a painter-restorer in a museum. I participated in several personal and collective art exhibitions. Now I'm a free-lance artist and work in my own studio in Veshenskaya. Veshenskaya is the Don Cossacks village in Rostovregion (South of Russia) famous for the novel "The still Don" by Nobel prize winner Sholokhov. Windows of my studio look out on the wonderfull pine-tree forest full of flowers and birds. This nature is an eternal incentive for me. Some years ago it inspired me to create a beautifull collection of pictures "Women and flowers". | |
