| About the Artist |
Some of my images are very different from the others. I made a decision to leave all doors open, to explore, to experiment, to translate, metamorphose and to dream.
In drawing and painting,I constantly explore the world around me in images, recording, rescuing fugitive images from obscurity and saving them in some kind of visual imagery - chalk pastels, watercolours, oils, acrylics, plastic archival collage or photos.
I paint what I find funny, or beautiful, or simply something that fits into an archetypal pattern. I like layers of meaning. I like to preserve images of everyday life. |

Portrait of an Artist
2005 |
|
In this series are self portraits - as a consumer, as a medical guinea pig, symbolized by the identification gizmos we need to survive in society - like credit cards, or id bracelets, or bingo cards. These are ponderable works. Go figure. |
