"Variety is very important to me, and I enjoy all styles of illustration and art. Whilst very experienced with traditional media and techniques, I embrace, and am skilled in, digital techniques. This allows me to experiment with combining old and new methods, pursuing avenues which interest and excite me. My work has been described as ‘a modern day take on the traditional - realism with a twist’." |

| This mixed media piece, 'Regeneration', was Peter's winning entry for the 2007 national competition 'Iconic Birmingham', and depicts the modern face of city blending seamlessly with its traditional roots. A public vote chose this piece as most representative of the city. |

| BA(HONS) Illustration Peters work has been, or is scheduled to be, shown at the following venues: Birmingham Central Library, Cornwall Street Chambers, Rep Theatre Birmingham, Claire Galleries, Arts Fest, and the Francis Burrows Gallery. It has also been shown on the BBC Big Screen Birmingham, along with an interview, and is due to be shown on Big Screen Derby. |
