'I am fascinated by our emotional connection to food. I think food means different things to us in various stages of our lives. Growing up with parents who were both chefs, I try and capture those memories and special moments in my paintings - such as my first pizza in Italy or the warm feeling I had as a child when Mum was baking cupcakes in the kitchen. Food to me is a celebration of live!' |
