There are two groups of drawings shown on this website: children on patterned surfaces and individual art students making their drawings. Both groups have a strong emphasis on observation. I watch and examine the subjects fully connecting them with my experience of being a child and an art student and also my contemporary association of being a mother and teacher. While observing and creating the drawings I assimilate the information I see and it becomes filtered through rational and irrational thought. For me it is an interesting process of collecting information and using it to create art. |
