I was born in Argentina in 1939 and now I am in England, seeking to live a simple life but hampered by creativity.

| 关于此艺术家 |
As a Buddhist and an artist I try to create artwork for contemplation, without forgetting that humour is part of wisdom. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break from our troubles the better to cope with them. May be my work can provide this pause. |

The STG-UK
1996 to date 76 x 41 x 41 cm |
|
An ordinary English shopping trolley, showing Art where Art has never been shown before.
Clockwise from the left bottom corner: The STG-UK during a shopping trip, with the Second International Shopping Trolley Art Show in 2001, on show itself at Candid Arts, Islington, in 2000 and with the last Group Show on board at the beginning of this year.
The STG-UK is my main ongoing Mail Art project, on it I carry the Mail Art sent to me. For a full account of this project and Mail Art in general please see my website.

| 教育程度与个人自传 |
I studied Architecture and Town Planning but it was not until I took early retirement that I started to paint seriously. Then I did an art course at Sir John Cass School of Art and Design, now gone, where I was encouraged to paint squashed beer cans and forget flowers. Which I did, temporarily, so I obtained my diploma in 1991.
To date I have participated in some fifty shows and competitions, my last one-person show was in 2005, during A Lotus in Flower, the first Buddhist Arts Festival in Britain. I have work in the Victoria and Albert Museum, because of my pioneering use of the computer in mixed media printing, and in several public and private collections at home and abroad.
During the past few years I have been doing charity work illustrating Buddhist publications and websites, allowing the use of my oils and watercolours or creating digital pictures for the purpose.
I am also very active in Mail Art. I am a member of Field Study, a Mail Art group created years ago by David Dellafiora and other young artists. It has now expanded considerably and has members all over the world.

| 未来的展览 |
A new year and my focus has completely shifted from chasing fame and fortune to following my bliss. So I am finally retiring from the commercial gallery scene but I shall continue my voluntary work in the field of art. More details in my website.
I shall of course never abandon Mail Art so there may be new STG shows in the future. Details of the last one, Artistamps, in my website
