have been doing art since the age of 4,. Her parents are both commercial and fine and graphic artists. She took private classes from Laura Wenman, and came up with solutions about why people battle to understanding art and how to draw.
The artist went into business with Laura and was trained for 7 years to teach her art course : drawing, oil painting and pastels. They present extended courses depicting Anatomy. She also studied under Reyno Swart (one of the top oil artists in SA). Justine then grabbed an opportunity, and studied the course from the French academy in France (which Reyno was teaching in SA) and in now presenting the course with the help of her partner.

| 关于此艺术家 |
I find art very spiritual and a mirror image of yourself, when all seems to go wrong I turn to painting and artwork and when I see somebody smile as they are happy with their commission or personalised painting, it makes me smile, my inspiration is mainly from the old masters, especially Rembrant,Sargent, Waterhouse, the romantic period where art was discovered, and the technicalities involved, classical art is very difficult, but if you are taught by the correct people, the world becomes your oyster, and I feel I'm going into that stage of discovery |

Metalic Fruit
2005 20x30 |
|
I always find reflective still life very interesting as you have to paint what you see, not what you want to see, but the results are always surprising |
Tenderness
1998 A3 40X60 |
|
I found that this picture described love, how we think we fall in love and think the person is for us, but when true colours are revealed, one feels trapped until the one who is meant for you is sent to you |
Love United
2003 50x60 |
|
Alot of people in life sometimes live so lonely because they haven't found love or their soul mates, when we do unite with our soul mates, life seems so much easier and the grass greener, breathing is forever, love is beautiful, especially when you find it. |
Sketch of a dog
1997 A3 40x60 |
|
this was one of my lessons, its funny how we tend to think things are so difficult, but once you know the rules of how to apply how easy it becomes, and more fun you have |
Woman washing hair
1998 A3 60X40 |
|
This was an intense tone observation and colour transfer aswell as light direction, when one knows from where the light flows, a simple picture can be amazing |
Hope Floats
2006 115x76 |
|
The woman in the painting shows her heart ache and pain she has been through, but the angel hidden, although we do not see, we can always feel that there is always someone looking after us |
Dreamy woods
2006 70x90 |
|
Sometimes we walk through dark tunnels, our visions are tunnels, when we are ready and finally see the light, we follow it and it draws us closer to all and what happiness we work for. |
Tranquility
2006 Oil on canvas 80x110 |
|
Tranquility is actually water, when it hangs up and you look at it, you see the water moving and falling down, almost wishing that you were there at that moment. |

| 教育程度与个人自传 |
| Have been training with my parents from 4 doing airbrush, learning commercial, fineart, then I was used as an example and went through an art course for 10 years, finding out what happens when one doesn't understand a certain topic and how to get over that hurdle(teacher is the 1st important lesson)eventually I started teaching and went into an artschool partnership where basic fundamentals were taught in drawing to prepare one for other careers,eg, photography, then went to a master in Cape Town, Ryno Swart who furthered my knowledge, as well as with Laura Wenman, who I had been with from 1998,Laura and myself have done many commissions for companies, portraits, and last exhibition was with Rawson, there will be another one with Durr estates later. |
