I make paintings and prints inspired by the natural surroundings, the light, the animals and the hard graft of the farming life which surrounds my studio by the Exe Estuary in Devon. Curiosity and questioning are vital whereas pictorial decoration and surface are less ueful to my process of natural discovery within a picture. |
