My work is focused primarily on recycling structures, forms, tones and patterns from a former textile mill in Halifax, my work deals with transformation, deconstruction and craftsmanship. Through printmaking and embroidery the intention of my work is to inspire the ideals of past values in relation to craftsmanship, skill and longevity, something I feel is missing to the modern consumer in a mass consumeroist society. |

| The book is completely deconstructable and is sixteen pages long, it represents the mill it is inspired by, sixteen windows on one floor and a builiding which has only remnants left of what it once was. There are soft ground etchings, embossings, photopolmers, machine stitched embroidery samples and a short film which have been added to the book and can be easily taken away leaving remnants of their existance on the pages. |

| Finishing School at 16 with 10 GCSES and going to study a BTEC in art & design at Huddersfield Technical College. I then did two two years of BA 9Hons0 in Fashion Promotion at University of Central Lancashire, leaving to pursue a passion to create my own work. I have just finished a BA (Hons) in Art & Design at Bradford School of Art. Curreny awaiting my marks. | |
