My earlier artwork was primarily abstract based on colours that often appeared in nature. More recent artwork is still influenced by nature, often by the Alpine colours and scenes in France where I paint during several months of the year. The goal is to convey a feeling of atmosphere rather than a realistic portrayal of a scene, and colour, always colour. |
