Andrea Rossetti living in Rome, Bologna, N.Y.C, aside from his artistic activities he dealt in literary criticism, writing essay about european and northamerican literature for the Einaudi publishing company.
He worked in quality of cultural news consultant and as TV- show author for RAI 1, the first italian public TV channel.
As writer he created a series of tales, poems, texts for the theatre and three novels. His first one "La messa degli Angeli" (The Angel's mass) competed as a finalist for the "Maria Bellonci Literary Prize" in 1996.
His first personal art exhibition was hosted by the Ugo Ferranti Gallery, Rome in 1999.
Filmography as a videomaker and an actor: "Lect-io" (2001, from Johnatan Demme's "The silence of the lambs"); "The Gospel according to No One" (2004); "Pinocchio" (2007, in the top ten of the Spike Lee's contest "Babelgum Film Festival"); "Morte civile di un anarchico" (2007); "Amleto, viceversa (Hamlet upside down)" (2008); "PsychoSalomè" (2008).
