I was born in London in 1956. I was brought up outside London and returned to live in the capital on my 23rd birthday where I have lived and worked ever since.
I have been in the habit of making quick sketches where ever I happen to find myself. In the past I would often draw what I could see while waiting for the train but now I tend to confine myself to subjects I find interesting.

| About the Artist |
I have always been interested in locations, urban or rural, and find that when I paint and draw aspects of them I learn more about where I have been.
I have been inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian and Pablo Picasso since I was a teenager. |
