I make paintings inspired by the act of seeing. Sources of inspiration include the idea of infinity, definitions and methods of presenting language and the accumulation of surface, predominantly in urban settings. The surface of the work is achieved through various techniques of application and removal of paint, imbedding the paintings with time, leading up to a visual experience, and a meditative space of interlocking layers. |
