Abbi Torrance

About the Artist

Abbi collects and documents using drawing, photography and video, the finished piece is intricately drawn with pencil or stitch. Her inspiration is taken from history of art, genre and technique. Abbi re-addresses traditional art techniques and uses these within contemporary art. Her work conveys visual poetry in the everyday and she brings elements of time and space into her work. By visually intervening in, commenting on or re-modelling events and environments that surround her Abbi makes visual narratives that provoke reflection.
