An installation at Modena Anatomy Museums for the event ‘Anatomical Diaries’ (2009), mixed media, variable dimensions. The installation represented in the photographs includes objects which have been borrowed with the kind permission of the Anatomy Museums’ Archives (books, dummies, cruets and medical plates).
concept: The installation ‘Second Life’ explores the theme of Demirugical Science taking as its starting point the 1940 documentary “Experiments in the Revival of Organisms” which discussed Bryukhonenko’s experiments in the USSR. The installation is made up of painting, prints, video, audio and vintage objects and photographs. It creates a private office and Wunderkammer within the museum. |
