Alexander Sadlo

About the Artist

Became a great admirer of Aboriginal Art. Began experimenting with 3-D optical effects. Also begins making jewellery with vitreous enamels on copper incorporating Opals in his work. A series of figures in movement become his major way of expressing the human figure in semi-abstract form.By the 1990's Alex continues to work on large paintings, collage, enamel jewellery, enamel portraits and ceramics and begins experimenting with hollographic images.

Full details of his history can be found in: "Experimental Journey: An Artist in Three Countries" published 2008 by Moon Arrow Press. By Adam Dutkiewicz and Gaynor Sadlo with supporting photography by John Hooper/Sadlo Art Ltd.
