About the Artist

My current focus is designing and building contemporary furniture inspired by the designs and methods of the Arts and Crafts Movement. I enjoy working together with clients to provide them with carefully hand crafted furniture which will fulfill their needs now and become heirlooms for future generations.

An orginal design by myself, this table is a contemporary interpretation of classic Mission designs. Constructed of solid walnut and figured Canadian hard maple with inlaid marble in the top and oiled bronze pulls. Hand rubbed satin finish. $2400.Cdn

Inspired by the original "Tree of Life" pattern by Frank Lloyd Wright, this tryptic of leaded stained glass is a one of a kind piece of functional art. Over 200 pieces of fine art glass in each panel. Frame is quartersawn oak in the Arts and Crafts style: mortise and tenon joinery secured by raised, ebonized walnut pins. Woodworking as a hobby and part-time business since 1971.
Juried Market Member of The Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council. Annual exhibitor in the NSDCC Christmas Market, Lunenburg Craft Festival. Currently on exhibit at Trees Gallery, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia
