Born in 1966 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia.
I trained as a hairstylist but found my calling in being an artist. Occasionally, I enjoy meeting people and talking to them , encouraging them to go for their passion. I lead by example... :)

| About the Artist |
Being born Asian , I faced ridicule for choosing art as my way of life. That didn't stop me. Having travelled and lived with people from 38 nations, I am filled with various experiences which I love to share via my works.
I am inspired by a touch, feelings, an occasion, a scene... and most of all, I am insoired by my own curiousity.
I tend to challenge myself to se if I can create a certain kind of art that I have seen and put on my own twist and so far... the answer is , Yes.

Maximum Exploration
2005 Acrylic and gesso on canvas 90 by 120 by 3 |
|
Part of my journey of exploring into the realm of texures, combustion of colours and letting my subconscious create more. My child pointed out the face to me within the white cross. When I stood back to take a closer look, I noticed it looked a lot like him grinning! |

Strategic Asset~ Not for Sale
2006- 2008 75cm by 75cm |
|
NZ almost sold their Auckland Airport to overseas buyers.... but most of us locals were very glad the sale did not go through as we consider it a strategic asset we should keep for ourselves! |
Blue Fantasy # 2
2007 acrylic and love on canvas 90cm by 110cm |
|
Ater the hustle and bustle of a day at work, I want a sanctuary to turn to and so i created a little fantasy piece where I can look at and pretend I am living underwater in the safety of a huge swimming pool... with my sun / flower. Sometimes I am climbing the stalk of the flower, sometimes I am dancing along to the moving tentacles of the watery sun... all I know is that I am relaxed, I am safe in my special blue fantasy. |
