Born in 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, I attended graduate school in New York, where I have my studio. I have showed in both one-person and group shows in the area. |

I live in New York and am a painter who relies on the stresses and challenges of an urban environment for motivation. That doesn't mean that my images are geometric or hard-edged, necessarily. Rather, my paintings are of jumbled forms struggling to coexist, and to maintain their equilibrium in an active world. |
