Born 1946 in Ashford Kent. No formal art training, just the compulsive desire to draw and paint since childhood.
About the Artist
Inspired by the passion for wildlife, particularly birds, the first thirty or so years were devoted to producing illustrative bird and animal paintings in watercolour. Since moving on to painting in oils, the inspiration of the Dutch and Flemish Masters in showing the effect of light on objects and textures in still life painting has been the main influence for recent work.
