My non-representational art is developed from images emerging during the painting process. I work quickly, applying paint freely, exploring color, shape, texture and line. My interest is in the excitement of motion and discovery and of creating something new and unique. |
| About the Artist | |
Born in Montreal, I grew up in Connecticut and moved to Florida in 1997. I have a degree in Art Education from Southern Connecticut State College and have studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia. After working for a short period illustrating children‘s educational materials, I returned to fine art as my main focus.I am a Signature Member of the National Association of Women Artists and the Artists' Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art. |
