| About the Artist |
Charles is a contemporary Watercolourist with a unique vision, consummate skill and artistic integrity. His paintings vary in compositions, from the subtle and evocative, to the powerful and bold - pushing the boundaries of traditional subject matter and technique. Charles’ paintings reflect many sources of inspiration, from personal memories to his local environment and destinations worldwide, including the Dalmatian Coast, where he conducts an annual tour.

| After completing a Degree in Mathematics and a Graduate Diploma in Education Charles studied classical oil painting for three years. Developing a interest and love of watercolour painting Charles fundamentally taught himself watercolours and is now a highly sought after watercolourist in Australia. He has won numerous awards in Australia, has had five solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions. He conducts workshops around Australia and overseas.He also written a number of articles for the Australian Artist magazine. regularly |
