|
Claudine Pieters was born in Brussels. She is established in Canada since 1979.
Ever since her early age, she is fascinated by the visual arts.
But it is really only in 1988 to 1991 that she follows courses to Mission Renaissance, a fine Arts School in Montreal.

| About the Artist |
Her two teachers, Helène Béland and Daniel Brient, were highly talented persons.
In 1996, she pursued painting lessons with Gilles Poisson, a famous and well known artist, with whom she learned creation. It is with him that she discovers happiness to create, to imagine and especially to paint memories of her childhood.
In 1999, she has relocated in Quebec City. She is fascinated by the beauty of the City and the St-Lawrence River which inspire her very much.

| Education and biography |
Since 1998, she becomes a permanent exhibitor in Gallery Jeannine Blais in North-Hatley, Quebec. She takes part in the Calendar of the Naive Art each year.
She also exposed in the Art Gallery Laroche-Denis in Quebec.
Since 2003, she exhibits in the Garden of Arts Gallery, in the Island of Orleans.
She takes part in many group exhibitions, in particular at the Museum of Civilization in Quebec in 1998,
Museum Marc-Aurèle Fortin in Montreal in 1999,
La Bagatelle in Sillery in 2000,
Festival Arts et Reflets in the City of Château-Richer every year.
Vision du Bonheur organized by the "Société d'Art et d'Histoire de Beauport" (2007).
GINA (Gallery of International Naïve Art) in the city of Tel Aviv, Israël -Exhibition "Naive - Joie de Vivre" (2007).
